Echoes of a Distant Time
A History of Pink Floyd Posters

by Vernon Fitch / The Pink Floyd Archives

dedicated to the memory of my friend, Storm Thorgerson

Welcome to The Pink Floyd Poster Gallery.

I have been collecting Pink Floyd posters for over 50 years, longer than anything else by Pink Floyd.
When I first started collecting, there was no Internet. Collecting was done at head shops, through the mail, in person at auctions, or at record conventions.
Today, with the Internet, it seems posters are easier than ever to find.

I want to dedicate this database to the memory of my friend, Storm Thorgerson, one of the truly inspirational poster (and album cover) artists of our generation.
Storm and I had plans to do a book about Pink Floyd posters before his sad passing.
Some of the ideas and information that were to be in the book are included here.
I hope everyone finds it useful.
