See Emily Play promo poster
June 16, 1967

Pink Floyd's second single, See Emily Play, was issued on June 16, 1967. To help promoted its release, EMI Records produced some small promotional posters to send to record stores and other record outlets. It is unknown how many of these promo posters were printed, but an educated guess puts it between 250-500 copies. These posters were printed by Ernest J. Day & Co., Ltd., London, the printng company that the record company used to print its album covers. The initials "E J D" are found in the lower left corner of the poster, following the work order number (G3855), and the date "667" (June 1967).
