Any comments, corrections or additions to this discography are appreciated.
Example: The matrix information, YAX 3419-1 G 1, found on side one of the Columbia Records pressing of The Piper at the Gates of Dawn indicates:
Stampers are made from the Mothers. Mothers are made from the fathers. Fathers are made from the lacquers. And the lacquers are cut from the master tapes. It is interesting to note that side one of the mono pressings of Piper at the Gates of Dawn are all made from a second lacquer. What happened to lacquer number 1?
Stamper Codes: The stamper codes used by Columbia/EMI Records is based on "Gramophone Ltd." and are as follows:
Example: A record with a "G" stamper letter indicates that the record was made from the first stamper. Later pressings may have stamper numbers in combination, such as "AL" which means 38.

Matrix Information: (side 1 / side 2)
1) SHSP-4020A-3 K-6466 SON / SHSP-4020B-3 K-6467 SON (both written)
Release Information: Fourth British release. This record was sold in Britian, and has a British cover and British labels. However, the labels have "made in U.S.A." printed at the end of the label text, replacing the "Made in GT Britian" text. The record seems to be the only British release made from the A-3 / B-3 lacquers, yet it appears not to be a British pressing. Apparently it was pressed by Sonopress, judging by the matrix. World Copyrights Ltd./KPM. Likely released after the A-2 lacquers, and before the A-4 lacquers.

Pressing Information: Pressings that use A-2 / B-2 lacquers have minor sound quality issues, particularly during the song, Money. Some copies also have a skip pressed into the grooves during the song Money. Such issues were corrected with the A-3 / B-3 cuttings, with the exception of the peak level distortion during the clocks at the beginning of the song Time (the MFSL UHQR LP is the only vinyl pressing without such distortion).
Copies of the Dark Side of the Moon LP with solid blue triangle labels without any stamper or mother numbers in the matrix are not U.K. releases. All U.K. EMI releases will have some sort of stamping code in the matrix.
Release Date: March 24, 1973
